CÁTIA KOSSOVSKY

Cátia Kossovsky has over 19
years of experience representing
businesses of all sizes and in
various industries.
Cátia started her career as an attorney working in-house for a private equity company in New York City. While there, she worked on numerous cross-border mergers, acquisitions and general business transactions. She then moved on to work at two large internationally recognized law firms Loeb & Loeb in New York and Reed Smith in Pittsburgh where she represented various companies in need of raising capital through private funding and acted as outside in-house counsel for small start-ups.
In 2016, Cátia began assisting clients in Pennsylvania who were licensed in the state's cannabis industry.
Cátia represents state licensed businesses and corporate businesses in general regulatory compliance, licensing, corporate transactions, private finance and mergers and acquisitions. Cátia also acts as of counsel to various law firms that have sought her expertise in these areas. Together with this network of attorneys, Cátia is able to provide clients with a full service law firm experience.
Cátia is the inaugural and current chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association's Medical Marijuana and Hemp Law Committee. She also sits on the International Cannabis bar Association's Board of Directors, as well as in the Board of Directors of a local non-profit community newspaper and a local animal therapy non-profit. She is an avid legal writer and national speaker.
